San Luis Obispo Location

Civil Engineer  - DPSI is seeking a candidate with 1-5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering & Design using AutoCAD. California P.E. license in Civil Engineering is preferred along with Grading and Drainage, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Public Works and/or SWPPP experience.

Civil Designer - This position requires 1-5 years’ experience as a Civil Designer with Civil 3D experience. Must be able to complete grading and drainage, street plans and utility plans independently. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

Civil Engineer Intern  - DPSI is seeking a candidate with great work ethic who is interested in learning more about the Civil Engineering industry. Candidate must have 2 years of Civil Engineering college level coursework. Candidate will be responsible for assisting with general civil calculations and drafting.

Survey Technician I – DPSI is seeking an entry level candidate with great work ethic and an interest in learning about Land Surveying. The position requires the candidate be able to assist Party chief in field operations as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft office programs preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Bakersfield Location

Surveyor – Land Surveying Party Chief - DPSI is seeking a Land Surveying Party Chief candidate with 5 years’ of experience. Candidate should have the ability to assist field crews as needed. Must have experience with Land/Oil/Construction Surveys, and 3D Laser Scanning. Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying and/or Professional Surveyors Registration in California preferred.

Survey Technician I – DPSI is seeking an entry level candidate with great work ethic and an interest in learning about Land Surveying. The position requires the candidate be able to assist Party chief in field operations as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft office programs preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Mechanical Engineer I – DPSI is seeking a candidate with 1-3 years’ experience with oilfield pipeline project design including new construction, as-builts, and design QA/QC. Candidate will be responsible for completing compliance reports and assisting with permitting support for clients. Mechanical Engineering degree required. Aerospace degree acceptable.

Mechanical Engineer III - DPSI is seeking a candidate with 5-10 years’ experience with oil and gas production facilities, pipelines and refinery design and engineering. Will be responsible for project management, engineering design calculations and maintaining budgets and schedules. Will also manage and review design process.  Professional licensing is a plus but not mandatory.

Project Controls Specialist – DPSI is seeking a candidate with 3+ years’ of project experience with strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities will include client support, document and cost control, and the ability to manage project deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, and other Microsoft Office software. Bachelor’s degree and experience with clients preferred.

Human Resources Assistant – DPSI is seeking a candidate with previous HR experience and 1+ year of clerical experience. This candidate must be detail orientated, and maintain confidentiality. Candidate will also be responsible for preparing job postings, collecting applications, and performing phone screens. Additionally, the candidate will perform HRIS data entry and maintain personnel files as needed.

Engineering/Administrative Assistant – DPSI is seeking a candidate with great work ethic who can assist with project proposals and technical work. Will also be responsible for covering the front desk as needed, supporting technical staff, managing deadlines and scheduling meetings. This candidate will also be detail oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office and possess proper written and verbal skills. Bachelor’s degree and experience with clients preferred.

NDE Technician Assistant – DPSI is seeking a candidate possessing 6 months to 1 year of experience with the oil and gas and/or NDE industry. Candidate will be responsible for assisting NDE Technicians with field inspections on various client sites. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and valid Driver’s License required.
