EEOC Class: Technician FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; Hourly Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm (Note: Overtime may be expected as approved by supervisor) |
General Summary
Designer III will be responsible for the independent design and preparation of drawings used in civil engineering projects, such as streets, storm drains, flood control projects, water, sewerage, traffic control, grading (including ADA grading), and erosion control plans, working directly with a Licensed Civil engineer or Project Manager. |

· Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D · Proficient of Civil Engineering concepts · Proficient of Microsoft Office programs · Great verbal and oral communication · Ability to direct and assign work to others · Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem · Ability to work independently |

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer or related field is preferable but not required. Background an knowledge in the Land Development Industry 8+ years’ experience using AutoCAD
Drafting/Design special training or certification is preferred
5+ years of progressive design responsibilities
