Permit Engineers & Qualified SWPPP Practitioner | San Joaquin Valley, CA

A global leader in photovoltaic (PV) solar energy solutions has hired DPSI as their designated permit engineers and qualified SWPPP practitioners. Our client has developed, financed, engineered, constructed and currently operates many of the world’s largest grid-connected PV power plants. As the designated permit engineers for the San Joaquin Valley, DPSI is providing all coordination and correspondence with public agencies in Kern, Fresno and Kings Counties. Our engineering professionals are currently serving ten various solar sites.

DPSI’s ongoing scope of work includes:

Permitting and Coordination Support

  • Manage building permit applications and accumulation of permit documentation
  • Gather and provide additional  information as needed and as a result of building application review
  • Facilitate meetings with building permit officials
  • Respond to the planning department on mitigation measures for Conditional Use Permits
  • Assist in the scheduling of building department inspections

Construction Document Control Services

  • Collect, coordinate and transmit Requests for Information, supplemental or revised construction drawings, record drawings, and certifications  and the appropriate responses during the construction phase of the project
  • Scan/plot/print construction documents

Qualified SWPPP Practitioner Services

  • Provide all of the required QSP inspection services for SWPPP compliance throughout the duration of the project
  • Review all documents on site and update the master SWPPP binders
  • Prepare the Annual Reports for 2013-2014 & 2014-2015 and submit reports via SMARTS for certification
  • File notices of termination with the Regional Water Quality Control Board for approval upon completion of construction
