Del Mar Elementary School
San Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD) required assistance with locating and replacing steel potable water lines on the Del Mar Elementary School campus. The existing system provided water that had discoloration and taste issues. DPSI researched available information and created plans used for bid solicitation and installation of new water lines. DPSI developed a complete bid package with project Technical Specifications, and provided project management and inspections during construction and through project close out.
Concrete and Parking Revisions
SLCUSD contracted DPSI to provide construction documents for campus-wide paving improvements at Del Mar Elementary School, Los Osos Middle School, and the San Luis Coastal Unified School District Office. After analyzing the condition of the existing parking lots, walkways, loading zones, and basketball courts, DPSI developed cost effective solutions to the school’s requests. This included demolition and construction plans detailing asphalt paving improvements and striping. In addition, DPSI redesigned ADA parking stalls and crosswalks to ensure the schools remain in ADA compliance. The designs covered the main parking lot, employee parking lot, tennis courts, basketball courts, and additional walkways around the campuses.
